Julika Dittrich

Julika, founder and owner of  Pathway Conuslting, is a qualified multilingual international lawyer, researcher and policy analyst specialising in international business, economic governance and EU environmental law and policy. She has more than 20 years of experience in advising and successfully developing and implementing projects for for-profit and not-for-profit organisations, as well as extensive experience working across different jurisdictions. Julika is a regular keynote speaker at civil society and industry events.

As an independent expert adviser, Julika serves on boards and advisory committees in Brussels and Vienna, her present hometown. Her doctoral thesis at the University of Vienna analyses  the topic Liability for Biodiversity Damage in European Union Law: The Role of Environmental Administrative Liability and Environmental Criminal Liability in the Protection of Biodiversity in the European Union.

Julika studied law at the University of Padua (Italy), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (US) and the Humboldt University in Berlin (Germany), from where she also obtained her law degree in 2002. In 2004, she obtained an LLM degree in International Trade, Investment and Business Law from the University of the Western Cape (South Africa). She holds additional qualifications in Financial Business Management and Sustainable Development Design.
