Pathway Consulting is an independent public law and policy consultancy specialising in international business, economic governance, and EU environmental law and policy.
We work in contexts where law, policy, and strategy are still in formation — where established structures are evolving in response to economic and environmental change.
Our work is analytical and systems-oriented, but also interpretative: we focus on how frameworks interact, how change emerges, and how complexity can be made navigable without being oversimplified.

Julika – Founder & Principal Consultant
Julika, founder and owner of Pathway Consulting, is a qualified multilingual lawyer, researcher, and policy analyst specialising in international business, economic governance, and EU environmental law and policy. Combining deep knowledge of law, policy, and political processes, she brings over 20 years of experience advising for-profit and not-for-profit organisations across jurisdictions, providing practical insight and strategic vision. Julika is also a regular keynote speaker at civil society and industry events.
Publication: Handbook on Circular Economy
Pathway Consulting founder Julika co-edited the Handbook on Circular Economy, published in German in January 2026, bringing together over 100 contributing authors to cover the full breadth of circular economy — from business models and resource management to digitalisation, product design, financing, and international trade.
Julika specifically co-edited the sections on political and legal frameworks, advocacy, and standards, highlighting how circular economy is shaped by EU and national strategies, international trade, competition and procurement law, extended producer responsibility, supply chain legislation, ESG requirements, eco-design, financing programs, and sustainable finance regulation.
